Winq Diversity Awards 2025

I had the privilege of photographing the winners of the 7th Winq Diversity Awards. A celebration of individuals and projects making a lasting impact within the LGBTQ+ community. From Mayor Femke Halsema to queer imam Muhsin Hendricks, and the creators of the podcast En niemand bleef onaangeraakt, each story reflects courage, authenticity, and transformation.

For me, photography is about connection, finding the quiet strength, the spark, or the tenderness that defines a person beyond their title or achievement. Through these portraits, I wanted to capture not only their faces but their drive, their humanity, and the diversity that fuels progress.

These images are a celebration of visibility and resilience, a reminder that true change begins with those who dare to be seen.
